Elizabeth Harris

Principal

I have been in education for 32 years.  I was born and raised in Florida and graduated from Berry College in Mt. Berry, Georgia. My first three years of teaching were in Georgia but I moved to Key West, Florida in 1977 and began my career at Mary Immaculate.  I met my husband in 1978 and was married in 1980 to John Harris from England.  We have one son who received his elementary and middle school education at Mary Immaculate and now attends Key West High School. We all love sports!

I love Key West and the unique and special environment that exists here.  I have been dedicated to Mary Immaculate for the last 29 years. I am excited about all the progressive changes in education that are currently taking place. It is an honor to serve in the leadership position as Principal for the 2008-2009 school year.

Our school provides a quality Catholic education by a very dedicated staff.  The atmosphere of "family" is evident in the support that exists between parents, students, and faculty.
